Freer First United Methodist Church
Freer UMC launched a Christ-centered twelve step recovery ministry we call RISE. We meet every Thursday evening for an hour and a half. We share food and fellowship, praise and worship the Lord, have a teaching and break into small groups.
God has blessed families and individuals tremendously through this ministry, with entire families experiencing real change. We have several husbands and wives that attend together, and since we provide child care, their children participate in the worship time. RISE is a testament that God doesn’t just deliver but saves to the uttermost and that recovery is about restoration, wholeness and healing. Amen to Freer UMC! |
