AMEN to Edinburg FUMC for placing their
children’s playground right out front for the
community to see.

AMEN to Falfurrias UMC and Premont UMC
for planning combined worship celebrations followed
by outside, out front activities.
The neighbors drove by slowly and some
neighborhood children stopped over to enjoy the hot
dogs and water activities. As
their pastor says, “That’s Evangelism.”

to Mission FUMC for their
new playground that is already being used by the
children of the ESL students, the children of the
food panty clients and the children of the
community.

to San Benito UMC for
making Large Print Bulletins and Hearing Aid Devices
available each Sunday for the community.
AMEN
to Raymondville FUMC for combining efforts with the
DAV and local American Legion to distribute boxes of
food monthly to disabled veterans in Willacy County.

Mission FUMC for their Stitches of Love
Group. Thirty-four sweaters were sent to Guidepost
Magazine for their Knit For Kids program, receiving
blankets were made for newborns at Mission Hospital,
and lap quilts were made for folks at Mission
Nursing Home.

to St John UMC for hosting 40 community folks at an
organizational meeting for the Cub Scout pack that
will meet at the church. Initial scout enrollment is
13.

to Trinity UMC for
presenting their 30th prayer shawl in
September.

Prayer Shawl Group began praying and knitting last
year.

to Harlingen FUMC for melding their two sites with
combined activities for children.
AMEN
to Brownsville FUMC for celebrating World Communion
Sunday by inviting all the pastors from neighboring
Matamoras to participate in their Sunday morning
worship service.
